Summary
To carry out general street cleansing works and operations on the highway, maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment by carrying out a range of street cleansing duties. This includes emptying of public litter bins, manual litter picking, weeding and sweeping of streets and public areas ensuring that public spaces meet high cleanliness and environmental standards.

- City&Guilds-NPTC PA2-PA02AR Vehicle Mounted Kerb Sprayer Hydraulic Nozzle and/or Rotary atomizer
- City&Guilds-NPTC PA6 Hand Held Applicator
- City&Guilds-NPTC PA6-PA06A Hand Held Applicator-Hydraulic Nozzle and/or Rotary atomizer
- Graffiti Removal Training including pressure washer

General Competencies

- To carry out all required checks of plant, equipment including completion of associated reports.
- To attend out of office hours emergencies in accordance with any rotas published and within required timescales if required.
- To assist with winter maintenance activities if required.
- To undergo all necessary training to ensure a level of competency to undertake the tasks assigned.
- To willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by Management, including but not limited to street sweeping, weed clearance, graffiti and fly posting removal, and fly tipping removal.
- Competency in understanding the risks associated with streetscene activities including personal hygiene and washing
