Your new role

As Street Lighting Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of the projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will

  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of Street Lighting projects and develop detailed project plans, budgets within the timeline.
  • Manage pre-construction and planning to execute traffic management and meet supplier requirements.
  • Demonstrate regular inspections and ensure the work complies with relevant regulations by conducting site audits and daily diary records.
  • Support the commercial team and understand the delivery of the construction phase.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices.
  • Ensure all required documentation is included and that gangs are ready to get to work.
  • Assist in resolving site and construction-related issues, communicating changes to subcontractors and other stakeholders.

About You

The Street Lighting Manager you will lead and demonstrate relationship-building skills, diplomacy, and your willingness to complete the project to a high standard and within the timeframe.

You will be able to tick the following below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Background in Street Lighting management
  • Understanding of electrical installations for highways lighting
  • CSCS card holder and SSSTS holder
  • Strong communication skills to address all queries from stakeholders.
  • Previous experience leading a team throughout a project from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities and computer literate
