Street Lighting Manager

Description
Here at Marlborough Highways we are looking for an experienced Street Lighting Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and HERS compliance across our North London borough contracts, specifically covering Newham, Havering, Haringey, Camden and Hackney
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 3 street lighting supervisors who oversee day-to-day street lighting, illuminated sign, and bollard operations across the Newham, Havering, Haringey, Camden and Hackney network
- Ensure full compliance with HERS (Highway Electrical Registration Scheme) and NERS (National Electricity Registration Scheme) standards
- Coordinate closely with local authority clients, supervisors, and internal teams to deliver term maintenance contracts
- Monitor work progress, KPIs, safety standards, and permit/streetworks regulations
- Commercial, contractual and stock control awareness for monthly reporting

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a street lighting or highway electrical management role
- Strong knowledge of HERS, NERS, G39, and relevant industry health and safety standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for client-facing council relations
- Full UK driving licence
