Street Works Permit Support Officer - Location Gateshead
Gateshead Council have a vacancy for a Street Works Permit Support Officer where you can make a real impact on the day-to-day movement of people and traffic across Gateshead. We are seeking a proactive and organised Street Works Permit Support Officer to join our team and play a key role in managing and coordinating works on the borough's highway network.
Working closely with utility companies, contractors, neighbouring authorities and internal teams, you'll help ensure that street works are planned and coordinated effectively, minimising disruption to residents, businesses and road users. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in highways or street works who enjoys problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
