Job Requirements
Candidates must have knowledge and experience of arboricultural and grounds maintenance operations, such as:
- Tree pruning, planting, and felling
- Cutting grassed areas, sports grounds, planted areas, gardens, churchyards, derelict sites
- Hedge pruning
- Street Cleansing operations such as emptying of dog/litter bins & fly tipping clearance
- Understanding of Health and Safety working arrangements
To be successful you will need:
- A current full driving Category B License (preferably with category C1)
- NPTC qualifications in the undertaking of Arboricultural operations using power saws and associated access equipment for working at heights
- Good verbal communication skills and experience of team working
- Proven practical experience of driving light commercial vehicles, ride-on mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers, spraying equipment
- Ability to sustain high levels of physical output over prolonged periods
- Experience of working to pre-targeted work schedules and to tight deadlines
