Inside IR35 Contract roles for Static Analysis & FD&T Analysis Stress Engineer
Defence project for approx 18 months.
37.5 hours with Overtime premiums.
Hybrid working in our office in Filton, Bristol.
About the Role
Senior Engineer to support FD&T & Static Analysis for long term Defence in Service repair projects. This is based on repair of aircraft metallic and/or composite structure to customer structural sizing, interface and project requirements.

Technical Skills
- Capability to assess Data set baseline data in Catia/Team Center
- Understanding of analysis methodologies and processes including legacy dossier assessment and load baselining
- Ability to generate stress sizing data support repair assessment and solutions
- Awareness of manufacturing and installation processes for consideration in design solutions
- Knowledge of Defence related repair processes & procedures
- Microsoft office applications – excel, ppt etc
- Higher level engineering knowledge and experience with the aim to achieve customer delegated signatory authority within Aerospace standards within 6-12 months.

Preferred Experience
- Defence aircraft project experience
- Aviation standard signatory delegation for analysis and/or repairs
- Repair project experience
- Aircraft metallic and/or composite structure analysis/repair solutions with a back ground in static analysis or Fatigue/Durability and Damage Tolerance
Applicants must be eligible to meet UK Security Clearance standards.
