Project Manager / Strong Customer Authentication SME

Day Rate - £900 Negotiable
Our client is seeking a hands-on Project Manager / SME to lead the delivery of enhanced fraud controls in line with PSD2 Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the SCA programme.
- Assess existing fraud controls and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Translate PSD2 and SCA requirements into practical business and technology changes.
- Work closely with Fraud, Compliance, Risk, Product, Technology, and Operations.
- Personally drive delivery, resolve issues, and ensure agreed controls are implemented effectively.
- Manage the project plan, dependencies, governance, and senior stakeholder reporting.

- Strong knowledge of PSD2 and SCA requirements.
- Proven experience delivering SCA or payment fraud-control programmes.
- Excellent project and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable operating as both the subject-matter expert and hands-on delivery lead.
- Previous experience within a bank, payment provider, or fintech.
