Job Summary

On offer, is the opportunity for a Structural Blast Analyst or similar to join a successful engineering consultancy who work at the forefront of structural safety and protective design. With a strong focus on expansion and taking on larger, more complex projects, the company is looking to add a new engineer to their team to boost their long-term capabilities and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
In this role, the successful Structural Blast Analyst or similar will be responsible for a dynamic mix of technical analysis, design checks, and reporting. Day-to-day duties include:
- Ensuring windows and structural elements deflect correctly under extreme loads
- Receiving and checking technical drawings
- Reviewing site layouts
- Writing comprehensive engineering reports

You will perform calculations and structural analysis, working on critical tasks such as calculating structural strengths and evaluating protective mitigation strategies. The successful candidate will undergo rigorous vetting for security clearance, working on sensitive, high-security regulatory compliance projects that test and protect buildings against hazards, while receiving specialized software training based on legacy project portfolios.
