Structural Detailer – Architectural Metalwork
Location: Gildersome, Leeds
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Detailer / Technician to join our team in Gildersome, Leeds.
You will be responsible for producing accurate 3D Tekla models and detailed construction drawings for architectural metalwork projects, including staircases and balustrades.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical detailing skills who enjoys working on varied architectural metalwork projects and collaborating with clients and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 3D Tekla models and detailed construction drawings for architectural metalwork.
- Detail staircases, balustrades and associated metalwork in line with project requirements.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications and customer requirements to develop compliant detailing solutions.
- Liaise with clients to resolve technical queries and ensure drawings meet project expectations.
- Maintain accurate drawing registers, revisions and project documentation.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical and ready for manufacture and installation.

About You
- Experience working with Tekla Structures or similar 3D detailing software.
- Previous experience in structural or architectural metalwork detailing is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to producing accurate drawings.
- Good communication skills, with confidence liaising with clients and colleagues.
- Previous experience with staircases, balustrades or architectural metalwork would be an advantage.
