The Opportunity
A leading global engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its Glasgow team.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers and other built-environment professionals, contributing to projects from concept design through to construction.
The Role
- Undertake structural analysis, design, and calculations across a variety of building structures projects.
- Develop practical and innovative engineering solutions using appropriate design methods and software.
- Prepare structural reports, technical specifications, and design documentation.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and other design professionals.
- Contribute to the delivery of projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction.
- Coordinate structural designs with wider project teams and other disciplines.
- Ensure designs meet relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Support the development of junior engineers and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Previous experience in a Structural Engineer role within a consultancy environment.
- Experience undertaking structural design and analysis for building structures.
- Knowledge of relevant design codes and structural engineering principles.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency in relevant structural design software.
- Working towards Chartered status, or already Chartered, would be advantageous.
