THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join our client based in HERTFORDSHIRE.
You will work on high volume residential projects along with projects in other sectors to include healthcare, commercial and industrial encompassing both new build and refurbishment.
Duties will include:
- Structural design and analysis of buildings and structural elements.
- Preparing calculations, reports, and sketches.
- Reviewing and checking drawings.
- Coordinating with clients, architects, and the rest of the professional team.

THE CLIENT
Our client is a successful, growing firm of consulting engineers who are working on various projects in the built environment. They currently have three UK offices.
THE CANDIDATE
- You must have a BSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- You must have at least three years of experience of working in a structural engineering consultancy.
- You need to have good working knowledge of UK design standards and also the Eurocodes.
- You should be working towards becoming Chartered with the ICE or IStructE.
- You must have excellent communication skills: both written and spoken.
- A full UK driving licence is required.

Salary is negotiable from GBP36000 to GBP46000 per annum depending upon experience plus pension, healthcare cash back plan, some WFH although 3 days in the office is required, life assurance, and a range of other benefits.
