Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Cardiff. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for:

- Performing structural analysis and calculations
- Developing safe and efficient designs for buildings and infrastructure
- Preparing technical drawings and specifications

Daily tasks include:
- Collaborating with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders
- Reviewing design concepts
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Conducting site visits
- Supporting construction activities
- Addressing technical queries
- Contributing to feasibility studies and project documentation
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex projects.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations for steel, concrete, timber, and other structural systems.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing structural drawings and details.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Ability to interpret and produce technical documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional registration or working toward chartered status with an appropriate engineering body is an advantage.
