Principal Structural Engineer
📍 UK Wide | Flexible Remote Working | £60,000-£65,000 + Benefits

Outsource are supporting a leading international engineering and consultancy business delivering major infrastructure and civil engineering projects across defence, government, industrial, manufacturing, and mission-critical environments.

As a Principal Structural Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership, lead the design and delivery of complex civil and structural engineering projects, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

This is a flexible hybrid role with travel typically required 1-2 days per week to a client site or local office, with the remainder of your time spent working remotely.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Strong structural design, analysis, and technical review experience
  • Experience leading project teams and engaging with clients/stakeholders
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE preferred)
  • Experience delivering infrastructure, industrial, defence, or complex engineering projects
