Structural Engineer
Kent | Hybrid Working
£65,000 - £80,000
I am recruiting for a growing and well-established engineering consultancy seeking a Structural Engineer to play a key role in delivering a varied portfolio of projects across heritage, residential, commercial and data centre sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer who enjoys technical leadership, client interaction and managing projects from concept through to completion. You will join a collaborative team where your expertise will be valued and your contribution will have a direct impact on the continued growth of the business.
About the Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead the structural design and delivery of projects across multiple sectors.
- Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to completion.
- Work on a diverse portfolio including heritage, commercial, residential and data centre developments.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Develop innovative engineering solutions using Tekla Structural Designer and ETABS.
- Support the delivery of technically challenging projects while maintaining high engineering standards.
- Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.

Requirements
To be successful as a Structural Engineer, you will have:
- Chartered status (MIStructE or MICE).
- Previous experience within a structural engineering consultancy environment.
- Strong project delivery experience across a range of building types and sectors.
- Proficiency with Tekla Structural Designer and ETABS.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to engineering challenges.
