Structural Engineer: High Wycombe
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Salary: Up to GBP50,000, depending on experience
Working: Flexible hybrid approach
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer with 3-4 years experience, or more, to join a well-established and forward-thinking structural design consultancy based in High Wycombe.
The consultancy has a strong and varied pipeline of project work, offering the opportunity to work across a broad mix of sectors and building types. The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a diverse range of structural engineering projects, working closely with clients, architects and other design professionals.

- Undertaking structural analysis and design across a range of projects
- Producing structural calculations, reports and technical documentation
- Designing structures in a variety of materials
- Developing structural schemes from concept through to detailed design
- Producing and reviewing technical drawings
- Working closely with architects, contractors and other consultants
- Attending site visits and providing technical input where required
- Taking responsibility for your own project workload and contributing to wider team objectives
About You
The ideal Structural Engineer will have around 3-4 years relevant consultancy experience, although candidates with greater experience are also encouraged.
You Should Have
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Relevant experience within a structural design consultancy
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles
- Experience designing a variety of building structures
- Good structural analysis and calculation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a team
