Structural Engineer - Building Safety

Sidcup or London SE1
£45k-£60k

Are you an ambitious Structural Engineer with an interest in buildings safety?

Could you be interested to join this multi disciplinary engineering consultancy, working in their specialist team delivering structural engineering inspections and reports for building safety cases?

This role could be based either in their SE1 office, or Sidcup in Kent. The firm have over 100 staff and their sectors include rail, buildings, marine, transport, housing, local government and many others. They are very varied in their workload.

The structural safety team currently have 3 engineers. You should be experienced in a wide range of buildings structures design, including visiting sites, making observations and providing written advice. The role will include lots of structural assessments, reviews, recommendations, forensic works, competency checks, performance checks, integrity checks. You will generally be reviewing buildings from the 50's/60's/70's. Travel to sites will be a large part of the role, so a willingness for this and a car driver is essential.
