We're looking for an experienced Chartered (or nearly Chartered) Structural Engineer to help lead our growing portfolio of exciting and challenging projects. If you're looking for greater variety, real collaboration, and the chance to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
You'll take ownership of a diverse range of structural engineering projects, from initial inspections and investigations through to detailed design and construction support.
Your work will include:
- Leading structural surveys, investigations and defect diagnosis.
- Designing in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
- Delivering structural designs for new-build, refurbishment, alteration and extension projects.
- Supporting in house REVIT technicians to communicate designs using BIM, models, drawings and sketches
- Collaborating closely with clients, architects and contractors to develop practical engineering solutions.
- Taking projects from concept through to completion with genuine autonomy.

About You
You'll be a Chartered (or near Chartered) Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) with around 5-10 years' post-graduate experience in building structures.
You’ll be;
- Curious enough to ask why.
- Practical enough to make it buildable.
- Meticulous enough to spot what others miss.
- Collaborative enough to bring ideas to life.
You'll also have:
- A strong technical background across a wide range of structural materials.
- Excellent knowledge of UK design standards and current regulations.
- Experience carrying out structural inspections and producing technical reports.
- Confidence leading projects and managing client relationships.
- A practical, problem-solving approach with excellent attention to detail.
- A genuine enthusiasm for high-quality engineering.

Location
Our office is based in Wokingham, Berkshire, and preference will be given to candidates currently living within approximately one hour's commute.
