£40,000 - £55,000 + Quarterly Bonus

A growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its established team in Newcastle or Leeds. Working alongside civil, structural, geotechnical, and geoenvironmental specialists, the successful Structural Engineer will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across the data centre, residential development, and commercial sectors.
With an increasing workload across both data centres and residential developments, this is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer looking to expand their technical expertise whilst taking ownership of projects from concept design through to construction.

We Are Looking For A Structural Engineer Who:
- Holds a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Has at least 3 years' experience within a structural engineering consultancy environment
- Has experience designing structures in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Is proficient in structural design software and AutoCAD
- Has experience delivering residential development, commercial, or data centre projects
- Can produce design calculations, technical reports, and structural specifications
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Is working towards Chartership with the IStructE or ICE, or already Chartered
- Is keen to further their career within either the Newcastle or Leeds office
As The Successful Structural Engineer, You Will:
- Deliver structural designs across data centre, residential development, and commercial projects
- Produce structural calculations, reports, and design documentation
- Work closely with civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, and external consultants
- Contribute to projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients throughout project delivery
- Support the delivery of major data centre developments across the UK and internationally
- Assist with technical reviews and quality assurance processes
- Mentor junior engineers where appropriate
- Play a key role in the continued growth of the Newcastle and Leeds structural engineering teams
