The role…

We are currently recruiting a Structural Engineer to join our Oxford office.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects while working within a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking practice. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality engineering solutions and building strong client relationships, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering professional engineering services across a variety of sectors. You’ll work closely with the Team Lead and multidisciplinary colleagues to design practical, economic, and coordinated structural solutions that meet both architectural aspirations and technical standards.

Your work will span the full project lifecycle—from concept to completion—ensuring that every project meets our high standards for quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction.

The selected candidate will…

  • Design practical and economic structural solutions aligned with architectural concepts.
  • Deliver coordinated designs in collaboration with the wider design team and multi-disciplinary colleagues.
  • Undertake structural surveys and produce clear, concise technical reports.
  • Contribute to bid proposals and fee quotations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.

Essential skills, experience, and attributes…

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Working towards chartered status (ICE or IStructE).
  • Experience working in a range of project sectors including new build development and refurbishments/alterations and with a range of structural materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
  • Familiarity with BIM and 3D design tools (e.g., Revit).
  • Good technical understanding of structural standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical ability with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Able to produce clear structural calculations and sketches, and mark-ups for Technician draughting.
  • Good written English skills and able to write coherent and well-structured survey reports.
