Structural Engineer – Residential & Commercial Projects | Established Consultancy
Looking for your next opportunity in structural engineering? An established and well-regarded structural consultancy is expanding its team and is looking to speak with Structural Engineers at all levels, from Graduate and Intermediate through to Senior and Associate level.
This is a great opportunity to join an established consultancy working across a strong portfolio of residential and commercial projects, with the chance to develop your experience, take on increasing responsibility and progress your career.
The Opportunity
As a Structural Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of a varied range of residential and commercial building projects. Depending on your level of experience, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work across projects from early concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
- Undertake structural analysis and design across steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber structures.
- Produce structural calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
- Work closely with architects, contractors and other members of the design team.
- Gain exposure to a variety of project types rather than being restricted to one particular sector.
- Take on greater technical and project responsibility as you progress.
- Develop your career within an established consultancy with experienced structural engineers around you.

Who They're Looking For
The consultancy is open to Structural Engineers at all levels, so whether you're a Graduate taking your first step into consultancy or an experienced Senior or Associate Engineer looking for a new challenge, there are opportunities available.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience within a structural engineering consultancy.
- Experience working on residential and/or commercial building projects.
- Knowledge of structural design principles and relevant design standards.
- Experience with structural analysis and design software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine interest in developing within the structural engineering profession.
Chartership or a desire to work towards chartership will be welcomed, depending on experience.
