Responsibilities

Are you ready to shape a brighter future?

At Parker, we play a pivotal role in applications that change our world. We are in almost everything that moves. With our wide range of technologies, including in the clean tech space, we help our customers solve their most complex engineering challenges.

We believe that the future belongs to those with vision. That’s why we’re seeking team players who share our purpose of enabling engineering breakthroughs that lead to a better tomorrow. Is that you? Working at Parker means belonging to a passionate, dynamic, and innovative team, empowered to make a difference.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work to produce zero safety issues within the workplace and our products.
  • Apply experience, physical principles, and analysis to provide engineered solutions to structural problems as requested by other Engineering functions. These problems shall include, but not be limited to: Structural code compliance for systems, shock design, mechanical design supervision, detailing, stress analysis, blast analysis, fatigue analysis, etc. Where necessary this shall require working with 3rd party consultants: this process and relationship shall be owned by the Structural Engineer.
  • Work with other functions to allow solutions to be integrated into Engineered products. i.e. solutions shall be manufacturable, functional, and provide lowest cost designs.
  • Author technical reports (internal and external).
  • Maintain a controlled process for work requests detailing requested scope, work undertaken, and final deliverable output. Ensure that this is trackable and organized such that it is available for others' ease of reference. This shall apply to internal and externally consulted work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
