Structural Lead - Data Centre - Blyth
Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Structural Lead to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.
Responsibilities
Structural Package Leadership
- Lead the delivery of all structural works on a large-scale data centre construction project, overseeing reinforced concrete and structural steel packages to ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.

Design Coordination & Technical Oversight
- Work closely with structural consultants, engineers, and BIM teams to review design documentation, resolve technical queries, and ensure constructability across structural elements including foundations, slabs, steel frames, and supporting infrastructure.
Construction Management & Site Supervision
- Oversee day-to-day structural construction activities on site, coordinating subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
Programme & Interface Coordination
- Collaborate with project planners, construction managers, and MEP teams to ensure structural works are sequenced appropriately within the overall project programme, enabling timely progression of building envelope and internal installation activities.

Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all structural works are delivered in compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and inspection requirements, supporting inspections, testing processes, and documentation needed for quality assurance and handover.
Requirements
- Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
- Must have 10+ years experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres
- Must be based within a commutable distance of Blyth
