Structural Revit Technician
Location: London
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join an established structural and civil engineering consultancy in London, working across a varied portfolio of building structures projects.
The role will have a strong focus on Revit, with approximately 80% of the workload produced using Revit alongside some AutoCAD. A significant proportion of the company's work involves the refurbishment, alteration and redevelopment of existing buildings, alongside new-build projects across the residential, commercial and education sectors.
As a Structural Revit Technician, you will work closely with the engineering team to produce accurate structural models, drawings and technical information throughout the design process. You will be joining a relatively small technical team, so the ability to manage your own workload, work independently and take responsibility for the quality of your output will be important.
The position would particularly suit a Technician who enjoys the technical challenges associated with existing structures and refurbishment projects, while retaining exposure to larger new-build schemes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
