About The Role

An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeks a Structural Revit Technician to join its building structures team in Bristol. This full-time role supports a robust UK project pipeline spanning residential, student accommodation, commercial, retail, and industrial schemes. You will produce coordinated models and technical drawing packages across multiple stages, working closely with engineers to deliver precise information. The position suits a confident technician with substantial building structures expertise in Revit. A salary of £38,000 to £45,000 is offered, alongside hybrid working and 25 days of annual leave. With the Bristol office continuing to develop, there is now an opportunity for an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join the team and support the delivery of high-quality technical information for new and ongoing projects.

This position would suit a confident Revit Technician with strong building structures experience who is comfortable producing coordinated models and technical drawing packages across multiple project stages.

You will work closely with engineers and fellow technicians, contributing to the development of the Bristol team while drawing on wider support from experienced colleagues across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed structural Revit models and technical drawing packages for projects across a variety of sectors.
  • Work with structural engineers to convert design information into clear, accurate 2D and 3D outputs.
  • Carry out quality checks on models and drawings to maintain accuracy, consistency, and presentation standards.
  • Support coordination activities, model reviews, clash detection, and project meetings using appropriate BIM processes and tools.
  • Help guide junior technicians as the team grows, promoting efficient working methods and high technical standards.

Required Experience

  • A relevant HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a structural engineering technician role.
  • Strong practical Revit experience within building structures.
  • Good working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience delivering projects across different sectors and building types.
  • A sound understanding of structural systems, construction methods, and detailing principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to technical delivery.
  • The ability to organise workload effectively and meet deadlines across several live projects.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Experience in steelwork modelling or reinforcement detailing would be beneficial.
