Role Description
This full-time, on-site Structural Revit Technician role is based in Nottingham and involves producing accurate structural models and drawings using Autodesk Revit for a range of building and infrastructure projects. The role includes:

- Preparing general arrangements, sections, and details
- Coordinating models with structural engineers and other disciplines
- Updating drawings in line with design changes and client feedback
- Assisting with BIM execution
- Maintaining drawing standards
- Ensuring that models comply with project and company quality procedures

Day-to-day tasks also involve:
- Collaborating with project teams
- Attending coordination meetings
- Managing drawing revisions
- Supporting the delivery of safe, buildable, and cost-effective structural solutions
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit for structural modeling and detailing, with experience producing coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Knowledge of structural and civil engineering principles, including building structures, foundations, and associated roads and drainage details.
- Experience working within BIM processes, including model coordination, clash detection support, and adherence to project BIM standards.
- Attention to detail in drafting and documentation, with the ability to maintain consistent drawing standards and quality control.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and external design teams.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and respond to design changes efficiently.
- Relevant technical qualification in civil or structural engineering, CAD/BIM, or a related discipline (e.g., HNC/HND, vocational diploma, or equivalent experience).
- Experience in UK construction projects and familiarity with applicable codes, regulations, and industry practices is beneficial.
- Commitment to continuous learning, keeping up to date with Revit developments, BIM best practices, and sustainable design approaches.
