The Opportunity An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to welcome a Structural Technician to its Newcastle team. Working across a diverse range of building structures projects, you'll support the delivery of high-quality structural designs and technical drawings, collaborating with engineers throughout the design process.
This opportunity would suit a technician who enjoys working as part of a team, contributing to project delivery and developing their technical expertise within a growing consultancy.

The Role
- Prepare and develop structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Produce detailed drawings from engineers' sketches, calculations and design information.
- Assist with structural layouts, sections, details and construction drawing packages.
- Work closely with engineers and other technicians throughout project delivery.
- Support drawing coordination and ensure technical information is accurate and consistent.
- Assist with the preparation and issue of design information to clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Structural Technician within a consulting engineering environment.
- Strong AutoCAD skills; experience with Revit is advantageous.
- Knowledge of structural engineering drawings and construction detailing.
- Ability to interpret technical information and engineering designs.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing team.
