Structural Revit Technician
Liverpool, Merseyside (with projects across the UK)
My client is seeking an experienced Structural Revit Technician to join their growing multidisciplinary design team in Liverpool. They also have offices in the Midlands.
You’ll be part of a collaborative environment delivering projects at every stage, from concept through to construction, working closely with structural and civil engineers, and liaising with architectural practices to produce fully integrated solutions across a diverse portfolio.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural modelling and technical detailing using BIM processes. You’ll contribute to projects spanning residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality design outputs using BIM software (primarily Revit) in line with ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2 standards
- Prepare detailed working drawings, specifications, and reports compliant with relevant regulations and project briefs
- Support the development and implementation of BIM standards and QA procedures
- Translate manufacturer and proprietary details into coordinated models and drawings
- Attend site visits to review construction compliance (e.g. reinforcement, foundations)
- Assist in project planning through accurate assessment of modelling and detailing requirements

Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations
- Experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete modelling/detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM workflows
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ UK experience across a variety of construction sectors
- HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Commitment to professional development (support provided towards EngTech and further qualifications)
