Our Client is seeking an experienced Structured Finance Lawyer to join its Structured Finance team on an interim basis. The role sits within a highly specialised Real Estate Finance practice focused on structured debt transactions.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a lawyer who can operate with minimal supervision, quickly integrate into an active practice, and contribute immediately to complex financing transactions.

Key Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Mid-senior PQE or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in the following areas:
    • Securitisation
    • Asset-backed finance
    • Real estate loan finance
    • Structured debt
    • Structured products
  • Ability to independently manage drafting and transaction documentation.
  • Proven experience working on sophisticated financing transactions.
  • Recent hands-on experience drafting and negotiating complex finance documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents across structured finance and real estate finance matters.
  • Support complex structured debt and financing transactions.
  • Work closely with partners and fee earners on live matters.
  • Manage documentation processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide commercially focused legal advice within tight timeframes.

The successful lawyer will:

  • Be technically strong in structured finance and real estate finance matters.
  • Have excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Be capable of hitting the ground running from day one.
  • Be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be confident managing multiple workstreams and meeting tight deadlines.

Contract Details

  • Initial term: 6 months
  • Working arrangement: Hybrid or fully remote
  • Start date: Immediate availability preferred
  • Hours: Full-time
