Founded in 2011, Fasanara is a global asset manager and technology platform managing approximately USD 6 billion in assets under management as of July 2026, investing across private and public markets on behalf of institutional investors globally. With c.130 employees globally, we are a pioneer investor in Fintech Lending and Digital Asset investing.

Fasanara manages the largest and longest-standing Fintech Lending fund in Europe and invests in early-stage Fintech companies via its venture capital vehicles, using its central role in the Fintech ecosystem to identify and back revolutionary new businesses.

The role

Fasanara Capital is seeking a Structured Finance Investment Analyst to join our Origination team. This role is ideal for a structured finance professional with at least 2 years of experience in an analytical function on a structured finance desk within a bank or asset management environment.

You’ll work closely with members of the Origination team, developing your analytical skills while learning to perform all functions involved in the origination process encompassing the screening, structuring, and execution of structured private credit deals. As you develop as an analyst, you will support the management of global originator relationships and learn to structure innovative private credit transactions. This is a junior position within a dynamic, fast-moving environment—perfect for someone who thrives in deal origination and wants to shape Fasanara’s next phase of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Performing quantitative analysis on large datasets from loan originators of various loan types to support investment decisions
  • Deriving/calculating stratified performance analytics utilizing originator data for benchmarking and investment decisioning
  • Modelling performance of whole loan portfolios across a set of scenarios set together with Investments Analyst and Head of Origination
  • Modelling performance of structures collateralized by loans across a set of scenarios set together with Investments Analyst and Head of Origination
  • Researching European lending markets to identify target markets
  • Monitoring developments in the European lending landscape to identify potential originators to target as clients
  • Performing operational due diligence on originators to establish investment opportunities (travel required)
  • Developing scripts, models, and standardized processes to streamline analysis efforts and speed up decisioning timeline
  • Addressing intra-firm inquiries from second- (credit, integrity/compliance) and third- (finance, operations, data) line teams
  • Drafting of analytical documents for credit committee and upper management review
  • Coordinating efforts across teams to take deals through the execution process.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working directly with structured products (securitization experience preferred)
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, math, or engineering
  • 2 years of relevant experience in the financial sector (bank, asset manager, direct lender, or private equity background preferred)

  • Functional knowledge of credit products (private credit experience preferred)
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel and Python for financial modeling (asset and liability side)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
