Job Title: Structured Finance Lawyer

We’re working with an International Investment Bank seeking a Structured Finance Lawyer to join their London Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer with 8+ years’ PQE and strong structured finance experience, ideally across securitisation, fund financing and other bespoke financing transactions. This is a hybrid role, paying £160k base (+benefits).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice across the full lifecycle of structured finance and financing transactions.
  • Advise on securitisations, fund financing, insured financing and other bespoke financing arrangements.
  • Support the structuring, negotiation and execution of complex, cross-border transactions across EMEA.
  • Identify and manage legal risks, working closely with front office, structuring, credit, risk and compliance teams.
  • Manage external counsel and support new products, strategic initiatives, policies and best-practice documentation.

  • 8+ years’ PQE with structured finance experience gained in an international bank, law firm or combination of both.
  • Strong knowledge of structured finance and securitisation, including security interests, collateral arrangements and creditor rights.
  • Experience across complex financing structures and transaction execution, ideally with cross-border exposure.
