Structured Finance Legal Counsel (VP)

Investment Bank
London

A leading global investment bank is looking for a commercially minded structured finance lawyer to join its Legal team as Vice President. You'll support complex financing transactions across EMEA, including structured lending, securitisations, risk transfer transactions, fund financing, asset-backed financing, and other bespoke structures. This is a business-facing role, working closely with front office, credit, risk, and operations teams.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified solicitor, 4-8 years' PQE, from an international bank or leading law firm
  • Strong drafting and negotiation experience across structured finance documentation
  • Excellent commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with securitisation frameworks, funding structures, regulatory capital transactions, receivables finance, subscription finance, or other asset-backed products is particularly attractive
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across the business
