Investam Capital is looking for a motivated graduate or postgraduate to join our team supporting our structured products business.

This is a hands-on role combining investment operations, market research and idea generation. The successful candidate will work closely with the dealing and management team and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of structured product transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor incoming trade and client emails throughout the day and ensure instructions are captured and followed up promptly.
  • Book and maintain structured product orders in our internal systems.
  • Track transactions from initial instruction through execution and settlement.
  • Help maintain accurate records and operational controls.
  • Monitor financial markets, macroeconomic developments and relevant company news.
  • Use AI and financial research tools to identify and summarise market themes and investment opportunities.
  • Help prepare regular market newsletters and short investment commentary.
  • Develop potential structured product trade ideas based on market conditions, sectors, equities, indices and macro themes.
  • Support the team in identifying potential new areas of client demand and product flow.
  • Assist with ad-hoc investment, product and market research.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has completed or is completing a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management or a related subject.
  • Ideally has some previous internship or professional experience in financial services.
  • Has a strong interest in financial markets, structured products and investing.
  • Is highly organised and comfortable managing several tasks at the same time.
  • Pays close attention to detail, particularly when handling trade instructions and operational information.
  • Can communicate clearly and write concise market commentary.
  • Is comfortable using AI tools as part of their daily workflow for research, analysis and drafting.
  • Has good Excel skills and is comfortable learning new technology and internal systems.
