We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Stud Hand to join our busy stud farm in Cobham, Surrey. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll care for mares, foals, youngstock and horses out of training in first-class facilities, with the opportunity to be involved in yearling preparation and foaling.

The Role

As a Stud Hand, Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Daily care and handling of mares, foals, and youngstock
  • Yearling preparation, feeding, mucking out, and maintaining exceptional standards of horse care
  • General yard and farm maintenance.

This is a full-time position, working five days per week (Monday to Friday), plus one weekend in every three.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working on a thoroughbred stud
  • Is confident handling young horses
  • Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enjoys working as part of a dedicated team
  • Takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of horse welfare and yard presentation.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
