Looking for flexible work that fits around your studies?
Are you a student looking for meaningful part-time work that can fit around your lectures, assignments, and other commitments?
We offer flexible care and support work that allows you to choose shifts that work around your timetable. Whether you are available before or after lectures, during the day, in the evenings, or at weekends, we may have opportunities to suit your availability.
Shifts can range from 1-hour care visits to up to 20 hours per week, giving you the flexibility to gain valuable work experience while continuing with your studies.
About The Role
Job Title: Student Care and Support Worker
Location: Staines and surrounding areas
Hours: Part-time, flexible – up to 20 hours per week
Working Pattern: Weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends, depending on your availability
As a Care and Support Worker, you will support people to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities.
Your Role May Involve Providing:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Personal care and support with daily routines
- Assistance with household tasks
- Support with shopping, appointments, and community activities
- Encouragement to remain independent and make choices about their lives
- Support with mobility and everyday activities
- Helping clients stay connected with their family, friends, and local community

You will support people who may require assistance due to illness, injury, mobility or memory difficulties, chronic conditions, or other circumstances that make everyday activities more challenging.

You do not need to be available every day. We are particularly interested in students who can commit to regular weekend, evening, or other agreed shifts alongside their studies.

- Are willing to learn and complete the required training
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle for work

This is a community-based role, where you will provide care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes or sheltered housing accommodation.
