Location: Various Unite Students Accommodation Sites across York

Pay Rate: £13.58 per hour

Contract: Temporary

Working Dates: Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September 2026

Shift Pattern: Typically, between; 09:00am and 21:00pm (subject to change, flexibility required)

The Role

Every September, thousands of students arrive in Leeds to begin university life. As a Check-In Runner, you'll play an important role in creating a fantastic first impression by helping students and their families move into their new accommodation.

Working alongside the Unite Students team, you'll assist with arrivals, direct students around the building, help transport luggage, answer general questions and ensure the check-in process runs smoothly. This is an active, customer-facing role that is ideal for friendly, energetic individuals who enjoy helping others.
