About The Role
The Student Check In Runner position in Leicester involves welcoming new residents and supporting their arrival at multiple accommodation sites. The Role
We are looking for friendly, energetic and reliable Student Check-In Runners to support student arrivals across various accommodation sites in Leicester.
You will be part of the team helping students move into their accommodation, ensuring the check-in process runs smoothly and providing a friendly first impression.
Duties
- Assisting students with their luggage and belongings on arrival
- Moving luggage between vehicles, reception areas and student accommodation
- Helping students and parents/guardians with general queries
- Supporting the wider check-in team throughout busy arrival periods
- Keeping communal areas clear and tidy
- Providing a friendly and helpful service to students
- Working across different student accommodation sites in Leicester as required

About You
- Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with students and the public
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the day
- Happy to help with lifting and carrying luggage
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Flexible and available for ad-hoc shifts when required
- Previous customer service, hospitality, events or similar experience would be beneficial but is not essential
Important Information
This role involves a lot of walking, standing and lifting/carrying luggage, so you must be comfortable with being active throughout your shift.
The initial requirement starts on 7th September for approximately one week, with the possibility of additional ad-hoc shifts in between and following the initial week.
