Role Description
The Student Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Manchester. In this position, the Student Consultant provides one-on-one and group guidance to students on academic options, program selection, and educational pathways. Daily tasks include:

- Conducting consultations
- Assisting with applications and documentation
- Directing students to appropriate support services
The role involves maintaining accurate records of student interactions, following up on action plans, and collaborating with colleagues to improve advisory processes and resources. The Student Consultant also helps organize workshops or information sessions, contributes to outreach initiatives, and ensures that all advice aligns with EuniAssist’s mission and standards of integrity and student success.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and support a diverse student population.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases, track progress, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and advisory skills to assess student needs, identify suitable educational options, and create practical action plans.
- Basic IT proficiency, including use of email, word processing, spreadsheets, and student management or CRM systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners while maintaining a student-centered, service-minded approach.

Beneficial Experience and Skills:
- Experience in academic advising, student support, or education consulting.
- Knowledge of UK and international higher education pathways.
- Relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, or related field) or equivalent experience preferred.
