About The Role
Student Employment Support Officer (Internships)
INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until July 2027 to cover a secondment. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.
The starting salary will be from £30,878 on Grade D, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.
You will be a member of the Employer Engagement & Student Employment team within SEAS and will be expected to successfully deliver the day-to-day operational work associated with the University of Exeter’s Managed Internships Schemes. This includes the Student Campus and Business Partnership schemes and the Graduate Business Partnership scheme. You will build effective relationships with stakeholders which support and contribute to the delivery of the above service, including employers, students, and graduates.
About You
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and email, and by telephone with a diverse range of people
- Excellent IT skills including proficiency in MS office (especially, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and web based programmes
- Recent, relevant administrative experience
- Delivering an exceptional level of customer service
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide accurate information
