About the role
We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our College Student Experience Team as a Student Engagement Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for providing an effective and customer-focused frontline support service for students. You will deliver professional information and guidance to meet the needs of students on a range of personal, pastoral and programme related issues.
You will work closely with the Student Engagement Manager, Student Engagement Team Leader, and colleagues in Student Services and Welfare, ensuring appropriate signposting is applied. You will also work on student attendance, mitigating circumstances, and other defined areas of student engagement, to support the enhancement of the student experience.

About you
You will have experience in a relevant role within a student support administration environment, providing support across a wide range of student needs. You will be experienced in handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality and will have a strong understanding of the importance of meeting customer needs.
You will bring excellent IT skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to give and receive information effectively using a variety of communication methods. You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and confidently engage with students and other stakeholders.
Adaptable and proactive in your approach, you will be able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and respond effectively to changing demands. You will also demonstrate a positive commitment to continuous improvement and an interest in working within a higher education environment.
