Company Description

The Nexus Tutor provides online tuition in Science, Math, and English for learners from Grade 1 through 12 and college level worldwide. Role Description

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and connect us with interested parents or guardians who may be looking for quality online tuition for their children.

  • Use your professional network, personal contacts, community connections, previous business relationships, referrals, social media marketing, local outreach, or other lawful marketing methods to generate genuine leads.
  • Once a parent shows interest, you will connect them with our team, and we will handle the further discussion, counseling, demo classes, enrollment, and tutoring services.

Target Students

We provide online tutoring for students in:

  • Grades 1–12
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • English / ELA
  • Computer Science & Coding
  • SAT and other academic support
  • One-to-one personalized online tutoring

Responsibilities

  • Find parents interested in online tutoring for their children.
  • Promote our online tutoring services through your own marketing and outreach methods.
  • Use your contacts, referrals, professional network, community groups, and other lawful sources to identify potential customers.
  • Share qualified and interested parent leads with our team after obtaining appropriate consent to be contacted.
  • Help connect interested parents with our academic counseling team.
  • Focus on generating genuine and relevant student inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to students and families.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries, follow-ups, and enrollment tasks efficiently.
  • Comfort with digital tools and online platforms used for managing student information, scheduling, and virtual consultations.
  • Customer service or admissions experience in an educational or tutoring environment is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with tutors and administrative staff and to adapt to a fast-paced, student-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of primary, secondary, or college-level academics (Science, Math, or English) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in sales, outreach, or stakeholder engagement is a plus.
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience in education, administration, or a related field.
