At Weston College, we know that finances can be one of the barriers to education, which is why we are looking to recruit a Student Funding Co-ordinator, who will help students access support through a range of bursaries and financial aids, ensuring they have individualised help to succeed.

This is a full-time role, working within our Student Support team.

Whilst the role will be based at Knightstone Campus, you will be expected to travel between all of our sites to ensure all learners can access the support offered.

As the Student Funding Co-ordinator, you will:

  • Provide a responsive, effective and learner-facing service to FE learners of the College in relation to personal, financial and practical advice.
  • Provide support to learners by managing the administration of student support funds, with the aim of minimising the impact of vulnerability and socio-economic disadvantage on outcomes.
  • Assess applications for support, maintain accurate financial records, produce detailed reports, and provide clear, timely advice to students.
  • Lead on communication campaigns that promote financial wellbeing resources available to students.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
