Background
The Student Funding Team (SFT) is based in the Student Experience Directorate within Professional Services. Delivering timely specialist in-person student support and advice to enable students to explore a range of funding options to support them throughout their student journey.
Responsibilities
The Student Funding Officer has specific responsibilities for delivering a high-quality, student-centred service providing in-person advice and guidance on funding options and attendance at university promotional events. Timely administration of discretionary funding, undergraduate bursaries and international student finance liaising with a wide range of staff at various levels across the university and external stakeholders.
Person Specification
Candidates will have excellent customer service skills and thrive in busy, fast-paced environments - with the ability to remain persistently calm in difficult situations and use professional judgement. Candidates will enjoy working as a team, have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively manage their varied workload – working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Interviews: Scheduled to take place on 8/9/10 September 2026 at Clerkenwell campus.
The selection process will involve an in-person interview and a presentation. Further details will be confirmed at the interview stage.
