Role Description

The Student Intern will support OT Ecosystem’s research, content, and community initiatives in a remote, part-time capacity. Day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Gathering and summarizing cybersecurity news
  • Assisting with research on OT and industrial cybersecurity topics
  • Helping prepare drafts for articles, reports, or social media updates
  • Contributing to organizing information about vendors, events, and training programs
  • Assisting with basic data entry or content management in digital tools

The role involves collaborating with team members, following guidance on editorial standards, and maintaining accurate, well-structured documentation. This part-time remote role offers exposure to real-world OT and industrial cybersecurity challenges and industry collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Ability to conduct basic research, analyze information, and summarize key insights clearly.
  • Strong written communication skills, with attention to clarity, grammar, and structure.
  • Interest in cybersecurity, industrial systems, or technology, with willingness to learn OT and ICS concepts.
  • Comfort using online tools for collaboration, content management, and productivity.
  • Good organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program (e.g., cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, communications, or related field) is preferred.
  • Professional conduct, openness to feedback, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
