About FA Social

FA Social is the UK's largest Founder Associate community: a place for FAs, early operators and future founders to meet, learn from each other and make the role a lot less lonely.

What we currently run:

  • Weekly dinners for Founder Associates across London
  • A bi-weekly run club on the Southbank with Jumpstart and operators_irl, now 500+ members
  • Co-working days with Tally Workspace
  • Bi-weekly sauna socials
  • WhatsApp community for ex-FAs turned founders and for students breaking into startups

Coming up:

  • Larger scale networking events
  • FA Social Activities around London
  • FA Social trip to Cape Town in February 2027

We've been featured in Sifted and we're growing through word of mouth. The ideas list is now far longer than the hours available, which is where you come in.

The role

You'll be FA Social's first intern, working directly with Alexandre Feniou (Founder of FA Social & Founder Associate at Flowla) to turn a long list of ideas into events that actually happen.

What you'll own:

  • Partnerships and sponsorship: pitching brands, venues and startups to sponsor or co-host, and closing those deals (this is where your revenue share comes from)
  • Events, end to end: finding venues, setting up Luma pages, managing sign-ups, briefing partners and running the night itself
  • Community growth: onboarding new members, keeping the WhatsApp groups active and spotting what people want next
  • Content: event recaps, photos and LinkedIn posts that show what FA Social is about
  • Your own ideas: there's a lot of freedom here. If you want to organise something new for the community, pitch it and we'll make it happen

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

In short: you'll get the reps an FA gets (sales, ops, events, marketing) in a setting where you can see the impact of your work every week.

What you'll get

  • The biggest perk is access: you'll be in the room with the people most aspiring FAs spend years trying to meet.
  • Unfiltered access to the FA Social community, our partners, and the founders and VCs we work with
  • Direct mentorship from Alexandre, working side by side
  • Warm introductions to founders hiring Founder Associates when you're ready for your next step
  • Free access to all FA Social events
  • A reference at the end, plus a LinkedIn shout-out for your work
  • A revenue share on the paid partnerships you help bring in

On compensation: this role is revenue share based. You'll earn a cut of the paid partnerships you help bring in, so the more you build, the more you earn.

Who we're looking for

Someone who's highly driven wants to become a Founder Associate, a founder or an early-stage operator, and would rather learn by doing than wait for permission.

You'll probably be:

  • A student, recent grad or early operator looking to jump into London's startup scene
  • Organised enough to juggle several events at once without dropping the ball
  • Comfortable reaching out to people you don't know, and not put off by a "no"
  • Motivated by the revenue share, not scared of it
  • Someone who enjoys bringing people together
  • Not shy about posting on LinkedIn and putting yourself out there

Nice to have: experience running events or societies, an existing startup network, or a decent eye for social content.
