About Us
At ARU London, supporting students is about more than processing applications. It is about making sure every applicant receives the guidance, communication and support they need to move confidently through their journey into higher education.
We are looking for a Student Liaison Officer to join our Recruitment team and play an important role in supporting prospective students from application through to enrolment.
This is a student-facing role requiring someone who is organised, approachable and experienced in supporting students through the application process. A strong understanding of Student Finance England and the student finance application process is essential, as you will regularly support applicants with finance-related queries and applications.
You will work closely with applicants, Education Consultants, Admissions and other internal teams to ensure applications progress smoothly, outstanding actions are followed up and students receive a professional and supportive experience throughout.
If you are patient, proactive, knowledgeable about Student Finance and motivated by helping students overcome barriers during the application process, we would love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
