Student Records Manager

Salary range: £43,243 to £45,877 per annum
Duration: Permanent
Working hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Location: UHI House Inverness with Hybrid available

The Student Records Office

The Student Records Office forms part of the Student Registry and Information Systems department within the Student Recruitment and Growth Division. Working closely with colleagues across admissions, reporting, management information systems and student recruitment, the team plays a vital role in supporting the University's academic administration and the student journey.

The Student Records Office is responsible for the effective management of Higher Education student records and associated academic administration throughout the student lifecycle, from enrolment through to graduation. The team ensures the integrity of student and curriculum data, delivers key registry processes including progression, awards and certification, and supports statutory reporting, funding compliance and institutional governance. Through high-quality service delivery and expert advice, the team underpins the University's regulatory responsibilities while enabling an excellent experience for students and staff.

Pay And Benefits

This role is linked to grade 7 on the UHI pay scale. The starting salary for this position will normally be in the range of £43,243 to £45,877 per annum.

This post is full time and will involve working 35 hours per week on a working pattern as agreed with your line manager. The preferred location for this role is UHI House, Inverness, with hybrid working available.

The workplace pension scheme we provide to workers at grade six and above is the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS). This is a qualifying pension scheme, which means it meets or exceeds the government’s standards. Full information on the scheme can be found at http://www.uss.co.uk/Pages/default.aspx.

Full-time posts carry a total of 42 days leave per annum (pro rata for part-time posts). It is practice that, with the exception of a Christmas and New Year closure, leave may be taken at any time of year, subject to the requirements of the post and department and with the permission of your line manager.
