Role Overview
Green & Orange Ltd is seeking an experienced, organised, and motivated Student Recruitment & Admin Officer to join our team. This role combines student recruitment responsibilities with administrative support to ensure a smooth and professional admissions process. You will be the first point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through suitable college and university pathways while also managing key administrative tasks. You will support students throughout the recruitment journey—from initial enquiry to successful enrolment—ensuring an efficient, supportive, and professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment Duties
- Lead Engagement: Contact and follow up with prospective students via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Consultation: Assess students’ goals, career ambitions, and circumstances to provide tailored educational advice.
- Application Support: Guide students through application procedures, document collection, and funding/finance options.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain regular follow-up with leads, ensuring progress through each stage of recruitment.
- Relationship Building: Develop trust with students through empathetic and solution-focused engagement.
Administrative Duties
- Database Management: Accurately record and update student interactions, applications, and progress within CRM systems.
- Document Handling: Prepare enrolment documents and maintain student files.
- Office Administration: Manage calls, emails, appointments, and general office enquiries.
- Reporting: Prepare recruitment reports, conversion metrics, and feedback summaries.
- Compliance Support: Ensure student documentation is complete and meets admission requirements.

Team Collaboration
- Work closely with admissions, marketing, and mentoring teams to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Assist with student events, recruitment campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Support management with day-to-day operational tasks when required.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging students over the phone.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative and supportive approach.
- Proven ability to meet recruitment or service targets.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
- Resilient, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Additional language skills such as Romanian, Ukrainian, or Slovakian are highly desirable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in student recruitment, administration, education consultancy, sales, or customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of the UK higher education system and student funding options is desirable.
- Experience working with adult or mature learners is an advantage.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of student consultations completed.
- Conversion rate from lead → applicant → enrolled student.
- Accuracy and timeliness of CRM updates and document processing.
- Student satisfaction and feedback scores.
- Efficiency in managing administrative duties and deadlines.
Salary & Benefits
- Annual salary of £24,800–£26,300, based on experience (pro rata for part-time employees)
- Monthly or intake-based incentives for achieving or exceeding agreed student recruitment targets
