Student Recruitment Conversion Officer
Salary range £29,145 to £31,849 per annum
Duration Permanent
Working hours Full time (35 hours per week)
Location UHI House, Inverness, or other location including remote as agreed

Reporting to the International Student Recruitment Manager, but also working closely with the Student Recruitment and Marketing Manager, this is a pivotal operational support role for a student recruitment and marketing professional to support the achievement of UHI’s undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment targets, with a focus on both international and UK/home student markets.
Working closely with a wide range of student recruitment, marketing, communications, design, academic and professional services colleagues across the UHI partnership, this role is ideal for someone with a strong customer service, marketing and communications orientated mindset, and who can demonstrate experience delivering excellent customer/student/applicant focussed communications and engagement activity.

Bringing an understanding of student recruitment in the higher education sector, and experience supporting the delivery of successful marketing and communications campaigns and activities, the successful candidate for this exciting role will be a champion of the UHI brand and partnership ethos.

Pay And Benefits
This role is linked to grade 5 on the UHI payscale.
The starting salary for this position will normally be in the range of £29,145 to £31,849 per annum.
This post is full-time and will involve working 35 hours per week on a working pattern as agreed with your line manager.
This post is subject to a Disclosure Scotland Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check, so please let us know if you are currently a PVG scheme member.
The workplace pension scheme we provide to workers at grade one to five is the Local Government Pension Scheme, administered by Highland Council Pension Fund and available to staff in Grades 1 to 5. More information about the scheme can be found at Highland Pension Fund.
Full-time posts carry a total of 42 days leave per annum. It is practice that, with the exception of a Christmas and New Year closure, leave may be taken at any time of year, subject to the requirements of the post and department and with the permission of your line manager.
