The Role

The Student Recruitment Events Manager is responsible for leading the development and delivery of a Group-wide events strategy which are designed to attract, engage and convert prospective students across the recruitment lifecycle.

In this role you will plan, develop and deliver high-impact in-person and virtual events. You will ensure that the events are a seamless and engaging experience, confidentially supporting prospective students from initial interest in joining the University through to application and enrolment through effective communication.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across teams and with external suppliers, you will use insight, innovation and strong stakeholder engagement to continuously improve performance and align activity with wider recruitment and brand objectives.

Our Successful Candidate

Our successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a related subject area, or if from a professional background, you will have significant experience within a similar role.

You will have significant professional experience as a strategic and delivery-focused events professional, with experience in planning and delivering large-scale, multi-audience events to drive leads and convert customers. You will be highly organised, commercially aware and confident using data to inform decision-making and optimise performance.

You will be an effective communicator who is able to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and present with confidence to diverse audiences, whilst leading and motivating teams. You will bring a positive, resilient and proactive approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
