Smart Move Education Group is seeking an experienced Student Recruitment Officer to join our growing team.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in student recruitment, particularly working with UK Home Students, alongside a strong understanding of the UK higher education sector, university admissions processes, course options and student eligibility.

We support students throughout their higher education journey by providing professional guidance on university and course selection, applications, documentation and admissions.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and advise prospective UK Home Students
- Conduct student consultations and assess academic backgrounds, qualifications and study objectives
- Recommend suitable universities and courses based on student eligibility and career goals
- Manage the end-to-end student recruitment process from initial enquiry through to application, offer and enrolment
- Provide accurate guidance on university entry requirements, application procedures and supporting documentation
- Maintain regular communication and follow-up with prospective students
- Convert qualified enquiries into successful applications
- Monitor application progress and maintain accurate student records
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, universities and internal teams
- Work towards individual and team recruitment targets
- Stay up to date with UK universities, courses, admissions requirements and higher education developments
- Support recruitment events, open days and promotional activities where required

Essential Experience & Requirements
- Previous professional experience in student recruitment, education consultancy, university admissions or a related higher education role
- Proven experience working with and recruiting UK Home Students
- Strong understanding of the UK higher education system and university admissions processes
- Good knowledge of UK universities, courses and entry requirements
- Experience managing students through the full application and enrolment journey
- Strong communication, consultation and relationship-management skills
- Excellent organisational and follow-up abilities
- Target-driven mindset with a strong focus on student conversion and service quality
- Ability to manage multiple applications and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Must currently be based in the UK
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK

Desirable
- Candidates with experience working within Romanian, Bulgarian, Portuguese or wider European communities in the UK will be highly regarded.
- Fluency in Romanian, Bulgarian or Portuguese would also be an advantage.
